Instead of specializing in
a specific area of medicine, Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) are the key
coordinators for patients’ overall health and health care services. For many
health maintenance organizations like UHS, PCPs are positioned as “gatekeepers”
who acts on behalf of the patient to collaborate with referral specialists,
coordinate the care given by varied organizations, and provide long-term care
or preventative care.
Over a period of time, we
are featuring our Primary Care Physicians who have dedicated themselves to take
care of our patients’ needs.
